The next Mid-Atlantic Fleadh will take place Mothers Day weekend, May 8-10, 2020!
Entry: To register for the 2019 Fleadh, enter your information into the “2019 Fleadh Entry Form” at the bottom of this page. When you press submit, your registration details will be submitted to us electronically. Submit a separate entry form for each individual you register. Once you've finished submitting, visit our “Registration Payment” page. There, add “Fleadh Registration” to your cart and as well as any additional solo, duet, trio, group, or dance competitions, as required. The total amount you’ll be charged should reflect the amount you indicated at the bottom of your 2019 Fleadh Entry Form(s). Next, click the “Checkout” button and you’ll be directed to our payment page. Finally, click on the PayPal button on the left. Payment can be made using your personal PayPal account or with a major credit card or debit card. Receipt of payment will be emailed to you by PayPal.
Entry Fees: Music competition fees are $20 per entrant for one solo instrumental, duet, trio, or sean nós competition; $5 for each additional solo, duet or trio competition. The fee for céilí bands is $50. The fee for grúpaí ceoil is $3 per member. A family will not pay more than $75 in music competition fees. For dance competitions, which are separate, the fee for four hand céilí or set dancing teams is $30, the fee for eight hand céilí or set dancing teams is $50. The extended deadline for entry is May 5, 2019, see online entry form below. Entries received after May 5 will be assessed a $50 late fee. Duets, trios, grúpaí ceoil, and céilí bands must submit their entries before the Fleadh and will not be permitted to submit their entry during the Fleadh weekend. Finally, there is a $10 per day entry fee for non-competitors, payable on-site at the Fleadh table in the hotel's main corridor.
Accommodation: The 2019 Mid-Atlantic Regional Fleadh will take place at the Parsippany Hilton, 1 Hilton Ct, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054. A block of rooms for the "Mid-Atlantic Irish Music Weekend 2019" has been reserved at the Parsippany Hilton June 7 - June 9, 2019 at a special rate of $149/night. This special room rate will be available until May 14th or until the group block is sold out, so please book soon. Rate includes breakfast for two adults and children under 12. Hall of Fame Banquet & Céilí: The Saturday night Hall of Fame Banquet & Céilí will include the installation of Deirdre Connolly, John Kennedy and Dennis Gallery (R.I.P.) into the Mid Atlantic Region's Hall of fame, the Gradam Comaoine/Outstanding Contribution Award given to Kathleen Biggins, and the Service Award given to Mary Higgins and Rose Flanagan! Reservations required, individual tickets are $75 per person ($30 for children under 12) and $750 for branch tables of ten. Please note, individual seating is open & unassigned and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
